Creative Movement (age 3) Movement preparation for ballet training, including basic motor skills taught through imaginative activities. Pre-Ballet (age 4) Similar to Creative Movement with an introduction to basic ballet skills. Combination Classes Ballet/Tap (age 5–8) and Ballet/Jazz (age 7–8) Age appropriate dance activities in ballet along with an introduction of tap or jazz within a one hour class time. Ballet I–III (age 8–11) Continuing progression of ballet skills necessary for intermediate dance studies. More serious study beginning in Level II with a requirement of twice weekly classes. Ballet IV–VI Intermediate thru Advanced Class Levels Three
classes per week recommended with the introduction of Jazz (age 7 and up) A freer and less restricted dance form - considered typically American, appealing to all ages. Tap Always popular and fun, this upbeat, fast-paced form is unbeatable for coordination and rhythm. Modern (Teens–Adults) An imaginative and interpretive style of dance allowing a freer form of expressive movements. Hip Hop I–III (age 7 and up) You’ve seen it on VH1 and MTV music videos! An exciting new style of dance driven by cultural and musical influences, fun for all ages.

Workshop Concentrated study with exceptional teachers who bring to the classroom the knowledge, motivation and expectation of the professional world of dance, have inspired our students to new heights of accomplishment summer after summer. Exposure to the many styles of dance taught by a variety of special guest artists and our staff teachers will not only benefit those who dream to dance professionally, but also those who love to dance as recreation.
