Since 1986,
WEST University Dance Centre
offers a complete dance program for students of all ages and
experience. Excellent basic training is assured through quality
instruction. The benefits of dance are many: self confidence,
self-discipline, poise, new friends, new knowledge, and a great sense of
achievement. These benefits can be shared by all students: those taking
dance for fun, school activities, exercise, or for professional
preparation. Students dance in state-of-the-art facilities ensuring the
best possible training environment.
The West U Centre, under the ownership and direction of Evelyn Ireton,
is well recognized and respected in the Houston dance community.
Referred by Houston Ballet, the school and staff are committed to strong
classical training as the foundation for all other styles of dance.
Instructors continue to train in order to stay current with changing
trends resulting in innovative and inspiring classes.

WUDC is moving
& expanding!
Our projected move-in date is Labor Day weekend with no interruption
of classes.
We will still be
at 4003 Bellaire Blvd, but located downstairs beneath the fencing school,
adjacent to the train store.
The move gains
WUDC an additional badly needed 700 square feet of space. The new facility
will have 4 studios, dressing rooms with toilet facilities, student and
teacher lounges, office, and a larger lobby.
