Annual Spring Performance
For nearly 42 years, Houston Academy of Dance has provided students with an exciting performance experience through our annual May performance. A staple of the dance school, this performance conjures images of childhood as a rite of passage anticipated with nervous excitement for many children. It’s their chance to shine in front of their family and friends!
This event offers our students a professionally directed performance. The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance, and contributes to a sense of achievement. The rehearsal process is a tremendous learning experience. It helps the children develop retention skills and positive aspects of working as a team to create the best end result.
Dedication to performance commitments is the responsibility of both the students and their parents. We created the The Performance Packet below to help you understand what to expect and also to clarify what we expect in terms of commitment to the agreement to participate in our annual May performance.
